Booking Terms and Conditions

Prakriti Sutra Homestay & Café – Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India

Welcome to Prakriti Sutra Homestay & Café, Rishikesh (“Prakriti Sutra”, “Property”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By confirming a reservation or staying at our property, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

We encourage all guests to read them carefully to ensure a smooth and peaceful experience.

1. Reservation & Confirmation

1.1 All bookings are subject to room availability.
1.2 A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and written confirmation from the Property.
1.3 The Property reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if necessary, including cases of misrepresentation or violation of policies.

2. Payment Policy

2.1 An advance payment is required to secure your booking.
2.2 The remaining balance (if applicable) must be paid at the time of check-in.
2.3 Payments may be made via UPI, bank transfer, or cash.
2.4 All applicable taxes shall be charged as per Government of India regulations.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp or email.
3.2 Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the check-in date are eligible for a refund (excluding transaction charges).
3.3 Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.
3.4 No refunds shall be issued for:

• No-shows

• Early departures

• Unused services

3.5 Refund timelines are subject to banking processes.

4. Check-in & Check-out

4.1 Standard Check-in Time: 12:00 PM
4.2 Standard Check-out Time: 10:00 AM
4.3 Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4.4 Valid Government-issued photo identification is mandatory for all guests at check-in in compliance with Indian law.

5. Guest Conduct & Community Respect

5.1 Guests are expected to maintain respectful behavior toward staff, fellow guests, and the surrounding community.
5.2 Loud music, illegal substances, and unlawful activities are strictly prohibited.
5.3 Quiet hours must be observed after 10:00 PM to preserve the peaceful atmosphere.
5.4 Any damage to property, furniture, linens, or fixtures will be chargeable.

The Property reserves the right to request immediate departure without refund in cases of serious misconduct.

6. Nature & Environmental Disclaimer

Prakriti Sutra is located in a natural environment in Rishikesh.

6.1 Guests may encounter insects, birds, natural sounds, or weather variations typical of forest surroundings.
6.2 Such natural conditions are part of the authentic experience and do not constitute grounds for complaint or refund.
6.3 Guests are requested to avoid littering and to respect ecological balance.

7. Facilities & Visitor Policy

7.1 Hot water availability may vary depending on room category and infrastructure.
7.2 Drinking water facility is available on the premises.
7.3 Outside food may be restricted as the Property operates an in-house café.
7.4 Outside visitors are not permitted inside guest rooms without prior approval from management.

8. Liability & Risk

8.1 Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
8.2 The Property shall not be liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal property

• Injury or accident due to negligence or misuse of facilities

• Events beyond reasonable control including natural calamities

8.3 Use of the premises and facilities is entirely at the Guest’s own risk.

9. Force Majeure

The Property shall not be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or emergencies.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
